Visiting places in Trapani region

 Sea salt produced in Marsala is called white gold. We had the opportunity to see how the process of obtaining it goes. 

In some places, the Mediterranean Sea is so shallow that marshes with sea salt, or Salins, form.

Shallow pool, hot Sicilian sun and wind that keeps the air very dry.  

We could also see one of the restored and opened to the public windmill.
