We started  a new year with the Action "Zero Waste", which assumed limitation of littering at many stages - from purchasing, using (i.e. proper storage of food in order to consume it on time before it breaks down); care of clothes and maintenance of equipment so that  they could  serve as long as possible) to waste management, composting kitchen waste, remaking items giving them a second life).

     Students  sewed textile shopping bags / pouches out of old fabrics and curtains. The finished bags were distributed to local grocery stores. Students  prepared patterns, learnt the techniques of sewing on a machine and organized an action in a local store promoting the use of reusable bags.

    They  also prepared a poster promoting the action.
