Project participants took part in lessons resembling the rules of waste segregation, conducted by a teacher or an external expert. They learnt how and what plastic is made of and how the subsequent stages of the "life of a plastic container" proceed. They worked out pictorial charts on the life cycle of plastic containers. Then they looked around for alternative methods of packaging products from completely recycled materials (photos taken in the field in nearby stores) and the use of recycled plastic (e.g. clothing).
